We are delighted to announce that our project “Future Stories: Tales From The BCP Future Lab” has been shortlisted in the Best Plan category at the 2023 Royal Town Planning Institute (South West) Awards for Planning Excellence. The awards showcase and celebrate the best plans, people, and projects. They recognise and highlight the positive contribution planning professionals make in the communities they serve.
This project was a real team effort. All involved did a fantastic job. The design of the overall process, the research, the engagement, the writing, the copy editing, the creation of the maps and diagrams, the preparation of the case studies, the graphic design, the print and production, and the overall project management. Specific contributions on the role of events and festivals can play in the revival of the three town centres were made by Dr Caroline Jackson.
