I was pleased to be featured in Issue 10 of Pier Journal, reflecting on a positive future for Bournemouth Town Centre and highlighting urban planning projects delivered by Feria Urbanism. The article included my thoughts alongside contributions from Rich Herrett, BCP Council member for Wallisdown & Winton West, Paul Kinvig from the Bournemouth Town Centre BID, and Bournemouth West MP Jessica Toale. It was encouraging to see such a range of voices contributing to the discussion about the town’s future.
Special thanks go to Laura Williams for shaping the words and to Sammy Murphy for guiding the journal to its tenth issue, a milestone worth celebrating. One of my quotes captured the essence of town life: “Town is still a place of exchange, but that ‘exchange’ includes ideas, conversations, glances, as much as the purchase of things.” It was a privilege to contribute to this dialogue.
