An update on two Feria Urbanism projects. The Cirencester Neighbourhood Plan has now been submitted to Cotswold District Council for examination and, hopefully, a final referendum. Work began in early 2021 and the project has successfully navigated challenges such as remote working, shifts in planning policy, and coordination with a parallel town centre masterplan. It has been a rewarding process, and thanks go to the Cirencester team for their collaboration in bringing the plan to this advanced stage.
In Waterlooville, our town centre renewal work included a Design Framework, Implementation Framework, and Quick Wins report. The latter encouraged “meanwhile uses” and youth-focused initiatives, so it was exciting to see a vintage trainer shop open in late 2024. Supported by Havant Borough Council’s empty shops grant scheme; this is exactly the kind of use the town needs. We were pleased to see our graphic identity adopted again, with thanks to designer Amber Hardy.
