Bournemouth Town Centre Co-Created Action Plan

It has been one of the highlights of my career to work on a project that listens to local people and turns their ideas into a clear, deliverable action plan for Bournemouth town centre. Last week we launched the co-created plan at the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum, and it led the front page of the Bournemouth Daily Echo. The real stars are the fifty people who gave their time, insight and energy to the work, and I hope the final documents do justice to their ambition and common ground.

I was especially glad to work alongside two passionate civic leaders, Jessica Toale and Millie Earl – different in political colour, but united in their care for a better town centre. The project benefited from a wonderfully collaborative team, with Amber Hardy’s ever-reliable graphic design bringing it all together. My thanks to everyone who helped shape it.
