I am delighted to be working with Jessica Toale MP on the revitalisation of Bournemouth town centre. Having contributed to plans and projects here over the past decade, it is fascinating to see how the town continues to evolve. I am pleased to be offering Jessica and her team advice on town planning, urban design, and community engagement.
I first met Jessica in September 2023, when she was a parliamentary candidate for Bournemouth West. I was immediately impressed by her thoughtful approach to local issues and became involved in her campaign ahead of the July 2024 General Election. Although I have always been political, this was the first time I became actively party political. Her campaign was welcoming, energetic, and run with conviction, and it was inspiring to see her elected. Since then, she has been engaged on housing, education, and now the town centre, and I am proud to support her work.
