Horsmonden Neighbourhood Plan

Neighbourhoods & Districts

We were appointed by Horsmonden Parish Council to help them prepare a neighbourhood plan. Horsmonden is a village in the Tunbridge Wells district of Kent. It has a history of involvement with the weaving industry, the iron and gun founding industry and the hops industry, and features locally traditional historic buildings, such as oast houses. The parish contains many hop gardens, orchards and farmland, numerous ponds, and woodland. The village is also renowned for its annual Gypsy Horse Fair. Our team organised and ran community consultation events in April 2018 and helped the steering group prepare a series of exhibition posters in October 2018.

The plan was approved at referendum in June 2022 with a 94% yes vote.
