Corfe Mullen’s Neighbourhood Plan is being shaped by its community. Following work with schools, young people, and community groups, in May 2026 we ran a public exhibition that drew over 220 visitors and more than 100 feedback forms, both handwritten and online. These were transcribed and analysed in full, ensuring every voice fed into the evidence base.
Next, we produced a clear roadmap to demystify the neighbourhood planning process for residents, alongside appendices covering steering group governance and best-practice youth engagement, recognising that a plan for the whole community must reach beyond those who usually turn up to consultations.
Our Recommendations Report sets out an explicit, evidence-led route for the plan to follow. Throughout, our approach has been open and energetic. Corfe Mullen shows what’s possible when a neighbourhood plan is built from real conversations with real people.
