Chichester City Council appointed Feria Urbanism to provide support for its Neighbourhood Plan, which will guide the development of the town over the next decade or more.

Our work involved providing the client group with a better understanding of what a neighbourhood plan can and cannot do in terms of regulating the built environment and the statutory processes that need to be adhered to. We also provided skills support as they assembled their steering group together with mapping assistance as they undertake a strategic PLACE audit, working with community representatives. 

Due to Covid-19, much of this early phase of work was successfully shifted to online platforms and video calls.
