🏆🏆 Feria Urbanism Win Two Awards

We were delighted to be awarded two prizes in the Royal Town Planning Institute (South West) Awards for Planning Excellence. We were joint winners of Planning Team of the Year, alongside Sedgemoor District Council. The judges said we were “very different teams but both standing out for their excellence in different ways” and as they couldn’t decide between the two teams, they awarded the prize twice.

In the awards statement, the judges concluded that Feria Urbanism “… is an impressive small consultancy, clearly operating as a team with a people-focused approach, effectively using innovative techniques and with a strong urban design focus”

We also won the Chair’s Award for teams that have or are clearly demonstrating how planning can have a positive influence on health, well-being and/or inclusivity. We won because the judges noted our “… commitment to demonstrating relationships with the community, and with people of all ages and abilities” and that our extensive range of projects “… take inspiration from art and design”

Congratulations to all the nominees and award winners and to the RTPI team for organising this awards process. You can read more here in the RTPI official press release.
