Feria Urbanism is an award-winning urban design and planning practice with a focus on community engagement and participation. The practice is successful and is growing. We now wish to appoint an experienced graphic designer to join our team.
- You will work closely with the practice directors to come up with project identity for each of our commissions. You will set up small websites, create logos, posters and materials appropriate to each project. You will be able to manage both online and print publications.
- You will be skilled in social media and connect us with local communities using various technology platforms. You will be confident setting up communications strategies from scratch to market specific events. You will understand how people want to use social media to comment upon projects and proposal and to have their say remotely.
- You will help us to make our “project artefacts” look great and align these outputs with the overall project identity. These artefacts will include maps, plans, books, posters, and infographics. The visual quality of our work has been vital to our success, and you will have a keen eye for detail. You will be able to successfully combine text, graphics, and images in ways that create high quality visual outputs that we can share with communities, and all be proud of.
- You will be a skilled graphic designer and know your way around the Adobe Creative Cloud apps and the most popular social media platforms.
This work can be delivered by remote working and such we will consider applications from people who live anywhere in the UK, although within a few hours of our studio in Bournemouth will be preferred. Many project calls can be held via Teams or Zoom. However there will be in-person meetings and events you will need to attend from time to time. Due to the nature of our workload, these in person meetings could be anywhere in the UK.
The role is 24 hours per week. This equates to three full days per week, or hours can be spread across the week to allow for more flexible working.
Salary competitive and negotiable and will be appropriate to skills and experience. Several years’ experience in industry is preferred although we will consider talented graduates.
